I recently acquired a 2014 sr viper ltx. The bars are tight when it comes to steering slop back and fourth but there is a definite up and down movement that results in a popping sound. Anything to worry about or is that normal?? Thanks!

The above link is for play while turning but definately open up the steering boot as per the instructions in the link to check for vertical play anywhere. It might help to have someone duplicate the problem while you look inside.

It’s the right boot while sitting on the machine correct?
