Any reason not to buy a 2014 sr viper

2015 RTX SE w/ 2000 miles on it. Brother has a 2014 RTX SE with close to 5000 miles on it. Of all the issues brought to light here on TY, we have experienced zero of them!

Almost 3,000 on my 14 xtx-se , no issues and absolutely a blast to ride, and best sled iv owned!

update: march 1st my coolant fan died :o| but the YES warranty covers it and would not let that stop me from getting another viper

2500 km broke primary spring, in for throttle body issues, battery lasted 2 weeks, had to do the update 2 times. I think some of it was dealer issues, so I changed dealers. My 2008 Apex was way more fun for speed but this 2014 Viper is tons of fun on the trails and off the trails. Plus if you get it stuck its not the boat anchor the Apex was.

If you don't care about top speed sled is the best I have ever had. Seating position, handling ( I still have some tweaking to do) is awesome. As for buying a 2014 I would personally wait. This season is almost over. So technically 16's will be out soon and 14 will be 3 years old. You will get a 15 in a few months for the same price and not much use out of the 14. Of course unless price is right but would have to be a heck of a deal. Just my opinion.

14 LTX- best sled I have owned or driven....ever! Only issue is the noisy primary clutch...though it is functionally great.

ya thats what i looking at a 2014 at a heck of a deal , other wise i would jump up a year

So I'm rolling up to 5000 miles on my 14 ltx se... best sled I have ever owned.. no issues except hot start and that is now fixed. I love this chassis but needs more power.. been seriously thinking 16' 9000 cat!

rode my wife's zr7000 at the beginning of the season. I was sneaking her sled while she was at work! She eventually caught on and started bringing the keys to work with her so I sold my 11 venture for a viper! BY FAR THE BEST SLED I HAVE EVER RODE!!!

actually 14 are little better sleds other then if someone experienced cold start issue

Any reason not to buy a 2014 sr viper??

Got a chance to get a great deal on a 2014 SR viper

Doing some research i found that has some issues not starting in cold an bogging down , are these isolated incidents ?

any know problems?

anyone will lots of miles and no problems

One of the reason I buy Yamaha is for dependability If the viper does not have it I would rather Just go with vector

Let me know what you guys think.
Over 4000 miles on mine did all the updates and a few mods and nothing bAd to say about it I love it
