I've got them on my long-tracked '06 Nytro. I love them!
Even though they are kinda meant for mountain, or off-trail riding, they do really great on trail as well. They got a really nice deep keel which gives you a very aggresive bite on the trails. I only go off-trail about 15% of the time ... and I like them for both on and off trail.

How does it effect the steering effort? The same, harder, or easier? Thanks

The steering effort was increased a bit. But I felt I had to go to a more aggressive ski due to the fact that I long-tracked my sled. I just couldn't get enough bite with the stock skis.
