I'm looking at purchasing sly dog skis and wondering if these skis prevent the darting . Has anybody tried these and do they work well.

Slydogs with ski savers and bergstrom triples eliminated the darting issue on my Attak.
I got mine fro www.ulmerracing.com and have been completely happy both on trail and especially off trail.
slydog powderhounds and ski savers, wow what a difference.,..... and i just ran with the included 6 inch carbides

Slydogs work great for me. I have about 1500 miles. I run the ski savers and 8" carbides that came with them. I suggest the ski savers. They really do save the bottom of the skis and seem to make the carbide last longer.

Slydog ski's alone will not prevent the Apex darting. You'll need different carbides with them. Trust me, I tried.
Bergstrom triple points with his ski-savers were the solution (cures 80% of the problem). In hind-site, I might have just gone with the Bergstroms and kept the stock skis.
