What's everyones opinions on these and what's a fair price for them used with some new 6" Shaperbars on them? Would it be a good step up for my XTX? I have a line on some for $300.00. They're even black and white swirl color!

I like the slydogs alot. They float great. There are better trails skis out there, but off trail the slydogs are awesome.

The link above is TECHNICALLY not allowed.... BUT ,it goes to a site sponsors page. That said, I've run Powderhounds on my 144'd Attak since it was new to me. I have around 7,000 mi. on mine and will likeky put a set on my new 11 Apex XTX. Great flotation offtrail, and when shimmed and aligned correctly ( with Bergstrom Triplepoints) it doesn't dart. It took a while to trust the bite they offer when cornering, but once the limits were found I can corner as well with these as my old C&A Pro's. Try a set and I think you'll like them ;)!

I got them after trying to get their trail skis which were out of stock. immediately gained confidence in every aspect of my riding, but they look stupid on an RTX. when i stretch it should even out lol. dont have any other skiis to compare to..

Well I've installed my new 7" slydogs. They look killer but I'm a little concerned with the looks of the leading edge of the Shaperbar. It looks like it will grab or stick to a root or even a curb if I'm going to cross a road. My biggest fear is that I'm going to bend my subframe. Is anybody grinding the nose of the bar down to create a better approach angle??

Can't hurt to bevel the front edge of the runner to reduce the risk of catching a railway rail. On my C&A Outlaws...the runners were totally exposed and I chiseled out a groove in the keel of the ski so that it sat lower in the ski. leaving it less likely to grab.
