I have a dumb question to ask, what direction is best to put the slydog ski rubber in pilot ski. higher end to back or front
Back. Slydogs rubber was to loose for my Phazer and Nytro spindle is same so I would think you will need a pad or very thick shim under it. I used modified ZX rubbers.

I use The same zx ski doo rubber on my 6.9 pilots. No modification just spread the rubber. Then I took it a step farther and shimmed the rubber in the rear. Shims have to be notched for skis plastic tab sticking up so only shimmed about 1/4". I got all the shims and ski savers from Bergstrom Skegs when I got my Triple point carbides.
