Doing a plug change on the attak and noticed the small tank has no coolant in it.Is there supposed to be any in there. Jason :drink:

Lke some on here, when I had access to mine on the Attak, I took a permanent marker and traced over the full line for ease of reference.

If your big jug is full.. than the small one shouldnt be.. its for when the engine is hot and expands and forces coolant into the extra tank..

Agree is shouldn't be FULL, but it shouldn't be empty either. Should be up to the line. Manual spells it out very clearly, it's a simple overflow bottle with a cold fill line on it. The fact that it's empty MAY be an indicator of a slow leak somewhere, or it simply had an air bubble somewhere and burped. I'd recommend you fill it properly and check it again after a few hundred miles just to make sure the system is holding onto its coolant.
