As you probably know, Rockmeister has a new device for sale that supplys power through 2 USB and 2 RCA plugs. Here is how easy it is to install!
1. The first thing I did was find out where I wanted to put it. Since I already have a roll over valve I was a bit limited to where I can put it. I ended up picking the riser. That way when I turn the bars the wire for my GPS will not go tight and I don’t need a lot of slack.
2. Next thing I did was take off the upper left side panel and headlight cover.
3. I routed the wire from my Smart Supply to the plug for my 12V plug.
4. I unplugged the 12V and hooked up the Smart supply. All you got to do is plug it in. Power flows from the sled to the Smart Supply then you plug the 12V plug into the other plug off of the Smart Supply.
5. Start the sled and plug stuff in to make sure it works, also test the 12V plug.
6. Re assemble any panels you took off and go ride!
The install was very quick, plug and play is great. I cannot wait to get out on the trails and not have to worry about the 12V plug shaking off the sled and losing power to my GPS.

If you want the original sumitomo factory yamaha connectors you can
buy them here. You can just add the pins to the blocking cap on sleds
not having a twelve volt plug already.

I use gold plated rca plugs and mount them right in the rubber plug on
the tank cover. Puts everything on the factory 3 amp fuse. So far the
Apex, vector and phazer have had the same connector.

If you use a heated shield or even heated gloves they plug into a RCA plug.
