snow buildup in tunnel

Tunnel

Open tunnel= cooler exhaust under the seat.

Right thought, but I must say closed my wifes phazer off and installed the side deflectors, did not notice a huge change in the heat under the seat....

Ride late in the season on some warm + temp. days and you will be glad the snow is hitting the exhuast.
Super firggin hot under there on those days.
So I'm putting in my own tunnel enclosure along the top of the tunnel protectors that I can pull out easy enough when spring riding comes.

Cheers

Solve the problem and get rid of the rear exhaust. It's nothing but a headache.

Guess then, I'd be riding a skidoo 1200 with strange exhaust plumbing.

Do the tunnel protector's come out with standard tools? Or are they riveted in place which would require drilling out rivet's... 8

ceramic coating will hold heat in the pipe and muffler...

Last year my dad and I shaped some aluminum to go under the tunnel and behind the exhaust. This helped out a great deal.

The front of it was held on with zip ties and the rear was riveted. The sides were just pinched by the tunnel.

This year I am going with a 1.75" track and have removed my tunnel protectors. I no longer need this piece.

Took a few hours to make. Anyone want it? $30 shipped in US.
