Woke up yesterday, looked out the picture window, as I was taking my first sips of the wake up juice (Coffee) and noticed white on the caps of Red Lodge Ski resort...(for out of staters, that is near Cooke City)
I didnt think much of it, and while I was working on the barn (wife project at the new house) about mid day, noticed the white stuff was still up there...Must have been a fairly sizable dump, to be visible, and to stick for the day...was still there today...
woo hoo

Spent a 4 day weekend in interior AK, the snow is quite a way down the mountains and woke up to a frozen tent sat and sunday morning. It's coming!

We had rain, some sleet, and a few snowflakes fall on us on Saturday in the Snowy Range (WY). We had frost on everything Sunday morning when we got up. We were at 9500'.

Just looked, and snow is still up there...and more is predicted in the next couple days...
We still have huge areas where the snow never left...could be amazingly fun year!!!!!!

I saw the first little dusting down here in SLC on Saturday. I was also very excited. Didn't last down here but a sign of what is coming.
I had better get to work. I have three torn apart sleds and my Nytro is only a bulkhead, motor and track right now. Should make for an interesting push to get things together.
Good to see you around MT, you must have gotten things settled there at your new place I guess. Get your new sled yet or are you going to be bugging Skinz to get it done before the snow hits? Those guys have a lot on their plate right now.

The web cam 50 miles from Anchorage at 3800 feet showed heavy snow all night. In town it looks like it's down to about 3k feet.
Picture this evening of the mountains around Anchorage. Picture taken from about 200 feet above and 1/2 mile from the ocean. Snow line about 3k feet. Sorry for the crappy phone picture.
