I found this product at Home Depot. It is used as a snow and ice nonstick on snow blowers, plows and shovels. Has anyone used this on a tunnel? Any good results? :yam:

MrSled, do you use it on your Viper? I am wondering about using on Nitro XTX.

I used it on my trailer doors so they would not freeze shut on the gasket when trailing or icey conditions, it worked great.

Watch using that stuff inside the tunnel. I had purchased a similar product, it really didn't work, snow still stuck in there like crazy and the dirt stuck the spray so it made a mess by the end of the season.

I do a little coating of Fluid Film a few times a season, Really works well for the icing issue, When it builds up and gets heavy the chunk just falls off while riding..

Thanks MS and Mr. Sled. RIGIDONE where do you buy Fluid Film?

Auto parts stores, tractor supply stores, maybe amazon too..it's about $9-13 for a spray can.. You dont need alot either when you spray it and careful of your clothes, it's a bit smelly, has cod liver oil in it..

it pops right up on a goggle search..

I use Fluid Film also. Great stuff!!

I got my tunnel powder coated. its supposed to have the same affect as the sprays but permanent. Hopefully it works. My xtx atleast looks better now and will never need to polish the alum!

I use graphite spray, coat the inside of the tunnel, no more snow and ice issues last season at all.
