Hey guys n gals new to the site and nytro world , I have a new to me 08 nytro standard model , went out for my 1st ride and is all around is better ride then my firecat. My only dislike is it scares the hell out of me when aggressive trail riding I dont know if it's going to turn or not,I have gen 1 yamaha tuner skis and have been doing alot of research on different ski and wear bars and theres so many different opinions. I want to spend my money once on change ups . I'm thinking of doing a pair of mtx skis with snow trackers does anyone run this set up and happy with them? I want know the sled is going go where and when I want it and not wonder what tree it will be that I'm going to end up kissing lol

Hands down the best thing you can do to a nytro is split rail skis but they are not cheap, I ran them on my 2013 nytro.
Second best thing is snow trackers on Yamaha single keel skis, my buddy has a nytro with ST on Yamaha single keel skis and it handles great, ST will eliminate all the twitchyness you are experiencing, zero darting and goes where to steer it. mtx skis are single keel so they will work great,
Ditch the tuner skis as they will push in the corners, as you start to turn the snow builds up between the keels which lifts the skis off the trail and cause the push, the split rail skis are similar to the tuner but the centre of the ski is cut out causing the snow to flow through between the keels and keeps the sled glued to the trail in all conditions.

yes i run this set up, and run stock skis with ski skins over top with snow trackers on wife's vector (7 1/2") heavier set up (its 4 stroke...doesn't make a difference) aand saves money on new hardware for mounting skis

there are spacers between the spindles and skis, as the openings are pretty huge. when doing this setup i spent almost on hardware as it cost for the take off skis. the wide saddle openind does allow for quite a bit of adjustment in width as a result. i can take some pictures in the morning for you if you want. dont worry about questions, thats what this place is all about.
cheers
