Loose snow has far more to do with the skis than carbides. Snowtrackers on Yamaha MTX skis are a good combo that works well in loose snow and on hard pack.

Yes I agree about ski vs carbide on snow.Loose snow has far more to do with the skis than carbides. Snowtrackers on Yamaha MTX skis are a good combo that works well in loose snow and on hard pack.
I've just heard trackers aren't good in sugar....

I don't think its that the trackers are bad relative to other carbides in sugar, its more that they are worse relative to how good they work everywhere else. In loose/powder/sugar snow, the keel and ski matter more.

Ok gotcha. I've just read ppl say they were bad in sugar(each has their opinion)I don't think its that the trackers are bad relative to other carbides in sugar, its more that they are worse relative to how good they work everywhere else. In loose/powder/sugar snow, the keel and ski matter more.
By design I don't think they're any worse than stockers......
Contemplating trackers vs mohawks.
