Are you guys mounting the snowflap to the tunnel without any reinforcements? If you hit the snow flab the aluminum flexes where the flap mounts to. Just wondering if anyone has had a problem with this?

The Hartman kit is great quality and excellent customer service Tom even called me back on Sunday with some questions I had!!

Mine is a Tracks USA extension and does the same thing. I was a little concerned too but ran it last season with no problem, even stuck a few times with the snow flap pointing straight up.

Yeah I broke the bottom of mine. I was using the flap mount and to fix it I moved the flap further up on the extension. That was my 136" extension, now with my 144" from tracks USA it uses the stock tail piece so it will likely be better.

This isn't really a problem for trail riders It's when you are in deep snow and that flap gets bent straight back. My rivets broke thru in the mountains.

If you want I can take a pic of what mine ended up looking like

I made my bumper kit as easy and cheap as possible.......used the stock tunnel extension piece and wrapped in vinyl although I can get an extension made up out of 1/8" aluminum sheet. Just didn't this time cause my metal guy broke some ribs so he is out for a little while.
