I power surged an xtx for next year. I was wondering when they typically come in. I'm hoping July but I know that's just wishful thinking. :o| I can't wait just to sit on it and start the mods.

Make sure to ask your dealer when they are going to date your warranty. Some put down the day it's picked up, while others post date it to Dec 1. If they date it on delivery date, you just got screwed out of 3-5 months of coverage. I know it's hard to do, but leave it there in the crate and get the 3-5 extra months worth of interest from the bank on your money, plus you don't have to insure it until winter. Those two money saving ideas should help pay for the first mods or trip.

My 07 attak was in at the end of july.... i dont care if the xtx doesnt get picked up until september... still plenty of time to set her up.....

Dealer didnt tell me exactly when mine is in but said it needs to be picked up by oct 30th

I need and want mine by late July,,,,,, warranty starting in July of December make no diff to me because theres no snow anyways

Interesting to hear people talk of warranty and how they want it to start in December rather than the day they pick them up. Seems to me not much of a chance of riding your sled between the summer when the sled might come in and December. Those seem to be idle months anyways.

Just my experience, but the last 4 sleds I have snow checked have never shown up prior to September and even once mid November:

2002 SXViper - Early September
2003 RX-1 - Mid November
2007 Phazer FX - Mid September
2008 FXNytro MTX - Mid October

Seems to me the "new model" of the year gets built last. If you bought an Apex for 2009, you would probably see it earlier than if you bought the FXNytro RTX SE. Not sure if that has to do with final production specs, more testing, vender supplies, tooling, machining, who knows. AOnly a guess on my part.

my 2004 Ski Doo MXZX SDI showed up the day before CHRISTMAS. There was good snow, and I missed 3 weeks of riding. It was complete BS, I was not happy.

Personally, unless there is a ton of snow down, I rarely ride in December. Too many hidden stumps and what not. Busted up a sled a few years back by riding to early. And i've heard of at least four or five buddies busting up a arms and skis by riding too soon.

Still I'd like to have it before November.

I told my dealer not to even call me before mid November. It just drives me nuts having a new sled in the garage and not being able to ride it for 3-4 more months.

BUT, you have to pay for it fully by some date.....like October or something, so If I'm paying for mine, it'll be coming home with me! :)
