On a similar note, hundreds of reindeers came towards us on the trail so we had to stop. At this point the reindeers took a right hand turn
out of the trail so we could continue ![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)

I couldn't add a pin to show more exactly, but you get the point
It's pretty far north ![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)

I ended up with scuff marks from a hoof on the nose of my SXR 700 when I crested a hill at night and surpized a bunch of deer. All I could do is grab a handfull of brake and see white tails scatter!

Two years ago I hit a doe with my firecat. She sure came up on me quick! Broke the headlight mount and put 2 small cracks in the hood. The guy that eventually bought my sled didn't believe me when I told him why there were cracks in the hood
I left the deer hair in it. (good conversation piece)

My dad told me a story of a time he was following a guy and a deer ran in front of the guy he was following. Deer jumped over the front of the snowmobile, kicking the kill switch and turning off the sled...the only "damage" done..
had a close call with a moose couple of seasons ago. night time riding, and anyone who knows moose, knows you never see them at night till your on top of them. sure enough, this big ol moose is standig right in the trail and im doing about 30mph, i took the ditch to miss him but it took quite a while to get me out! probably should have just ducked and gone under him lol!

You can see they are eating something that someone put on the trail, look at the very first deer.
