Got the new Snowtech Spring 2014 issue. There is a foldout brocure on the 2015 viper le models.
I thought the overall length of the ltx and xtx were the same at 125".
The xtx tunnel section behind the small bag looks longer than the ltx model.
Check it out .

Funny thing is Cat doesn't offer the 137" for 2015. zr 129" or xf 141". Is Yammi cheaply buying up Cats leftovers now.
XF 7000 LXR LTD, and Sno Pro are the 137" coupled Cats.

Ah ha!! Didn't see that. So many options I took for granted all xf would be the same with only track lug depth, windshield and shock packages as the other options. I should've known better, I had an 03-zl 600 efi ss esr w/ett. Cat loves their alphabet.
I can take or leave Doo's lineup versus Cat's.
On one hand Cat has WAY too many different models. On teh surface it looks like Doo has far less, BUT if you start giving each engine in the Doo lineup it's own model...

The LTX vs. the XTX the tunnel are the same, but the XTX has about one inch longer rails. More like 1/2 inch.

BRP's build your model web makes it all easy though. Less effort than researching every model for options. Cool idea.
brian90, they keep making sleds bigger and longer so you have to buy a new hauler every time you upgrade. lol jk
I rode both this past weekend and I could have swore the 137" was shorter. May be just appearances foolin' again. It makes sense to put them in the same tunnel, it's not much difference. But it sure is in trail manners.

Well has anyone looked at this brochure.
The lxt and xtx may be of the same length but from the tunnel bag back the xtx looks longer in the picture. May just be my eyes but I don't think so.
I know for 2015 the 7000 series Artic Cat 129" track sleds now are shown as being 121" total length as opposed to the old 118" in length. Did they make a change somewhere??

Saw in snow tech there was an add-on seat on a dx , does / will that fit all models , 14 , 15 ? Rode with a buddy in Hackensack ,MN this winter , his friend had a 4 stroke non turbo cat that used the seat add-on , said the wife worked good back there , said she was 135 lbs. and love the seat option . He also said he wished he had not rode my 2013 Apex , said wow , that thing has a lot more poop !!
