I ordered them over three weeks ago and still no sign of them showing up. Spring is just around the corner. They can keep them now. My big trip starts tomorrow without them. Done doing business with them. They make a good product but it does me no good if they cannot get them to me in a timely matter. Just to let anybody that would like to purchase them, you better order way ahead of time.

You should try ordering a set of Bergstrom carbides...took them over 5 weeks when I ordered them.

forget those snowtrasher they are pure junk!
You should call bergstrom skegs and talk with scot he will sell you what is right for your sled and you, I had them on my phazer and drove 2500 mil, and now I have put them on my new nytro and drove 1500 mil.
Thats 4000 mil on them! and they still outperform the previous junk call snowtracker that I had before.

I am still running Bergstroms that are 8 years old, and still sharp. Worth the wait.

I have tried everything, ski's, bar's including Bergsroms with shim's and saver's, etc, ect........
The Tracker's are the only thing that will 100% not track and still corner with out increasing steering effort. I had over 6,000mi on my first pair in central and northern Wisconsin. We now have over a dozen pair of these things in our group with a couple new Doo guys looking to make there 800 E-Tecs bite like my sled does (12Apex). Don't like them don't buy them. Most will never ride with out them again once they have them.

Bergtrom has be the most negative guy ever..........every one else product sucks (and he never test the others) and his is the best on every sled.........plus he has terrible customer service...you call for your carbide and he has every excuse in the world why they are delayde...i wont do buisness with anyone that negative..and IMO there not that great I had a chunk of carbide brake off....

I did not mean to choose for others their carbibes, I just share my experience with both snowtracker and bergstrom skegs.
For the negative aspect of bergstrom skegs, if you read and look his entire website there is tons of valuable information that you can verify if you make some research and then you will know if it is true or false.
I put bergstrom skegs, ski savers and shims like bergstrom told me and it worked as I was told it would.
as for service I think it was good, he send you your stuff and charge your credit card only when the stuff is in your posession, so you do not pay in advance.
when I had the snowtracker on my phaser they worked but when you get ice in the trail you do not have control, but with the bergstrom you still have control.
The beggest point in snowmobile is darting and bergstrom skegs eliminate that 100%
I had only test those two brans on yamaha sleds a phaser 2007 and a nytro 2010, for the other brands and models I did not.
This is only my personal experience feedback that I share on this yamaha related snowmobil forum. I am not affiliated with bergstrom skeg, I am in Quebec Canada.
I respect the opinion of every writers on this forum, the one that I agree and the one I do not. I presume that everyone is able to express himself in his way, we do not talk about politics but snowmobil so I think that people should be able to understand a point of view,I do not means to dictate what to buy at others, so I appoligie for my improper formulated sentence about the carbibes. I am not English, this is my second language so I probably lack a lot of grammar, vocabular and syntaxe, but I do my best.
If people are still mad at my text, well in that case we should forget about democrati and all get some true dictator in our country

i too love my snowtrackers. did you try to order them through yamaha? in Canada they are available in the accessories catalogue (which my dealer parts guys didn't even know???) nott sure about the in the US though. Bergstrom has a grest reading material on his site, and very ggod to talk to (off season) he's usually crazy busy in the winter.
ps... I shimmed my ski with the snow trackers which works mint.

Shimming the Tracker's is the wrong thing to do. The defuser (tin channel that the wear blade set's between) needs to be in the snow as much as possible to work it's best. Ask Mike Knapp. Shim's are a bandaid to try to fix the real problem.stubb111 said:i too love my snowtrackers. did you try to order them through yamaha? in Canada they are available in the accessories catalogue (which my dealer parts guys didn't even know???) nott sure about the in the US though. ok??? the entire diffsuer is still in the snow, and it works very well, and never hangs up on anything when crossing brindges, train tracks etc.... to each their own....works good for me. corners like its on rails and got almost 9000kms on my last set.
