Haven't seen much discussion on this so I want to start one. Was just reading Chris Reads blog and watched the videos on the performance damper and DuPont hyfax and was blown away by the simple yet intelligent engineering behind this. There are a lot of things on a Yamaha that do work well and a lot of small quality things I notice on the machine that make me saw "wow" who thought of that. I think these dampers will be great and a definite win win in any case. I'd buy a set for my sled right now if they had them for purchase. Any thoughts? Glad to hear that the sliders reduce friction as oppose to adding idler wheels. I replaced 6 bearings got a track wear kit from ulmer to stop the friction of my shock hitting the studs and DuPont hyfax this year so I should gain 10 mph now? LOL there will be a lot less heat coming from the skid this year anyway good to hear these kinds of things.
