Hi there!

Since I havent got the turbokit yet I`m posting this here.

Today I ordered and payed an MCX 180 kit, I`ve been thinking about it for several weeks, and when I start having sleepless nights I know its time to order.

So far I`ve got alittle over 1000kms on my Nytro and I really love it.

But, the dream of owning a turbo sled has been there ever since I heard/saw the 2003 RX1 with a turbo.

And powder days it would be awesome being the first to climb some hills!

A buddy of mine rides a Summit 800 2006 151" and in some conditions it seems like he climbs higher then me, but in some other conditions I get the highmarks. I`ve found out that snow conditions can vary alot.

As the magazines say, the Nytro is in the 600ccm class when thinking of power to weight ratio. So I`m going to do something about it=)

I just cant wait to entering the world of boost!

I am going to mount the kit myself and I will tell you all about it incase someone wants to know more about mounting it.

So is there anything I should be aware of when thinking of the 180 especially?

I really hope it will be a turn the key and go experience!

Any opinions appreciated:)

Hi there Alatalo!

I mounted my mcx180 myself, take your time and have fun with the install. Make sure there's no air leaks.

This is VERY critical!!!

clamps and hoses need to be VERY clean, NO oil on them at all...it is best to use some form of cleaner to get them VERY clean...this will prevent issues in the future....also clean the parts that the hoses are mounting on, they need to be COMPLETELY oil and grease free...

You guys with the 180 kit do you sometimes wish you had more?

I ordered my 180 kit this morning and I can't wait to get started, especially since we still have over 8 ft. of snow in the hills and a possibility of more snow this weekend. It would be great to get to ride with the new turbo in June. No problems with the install?
