We tested in several apex's with great results. Have had several customers report back with satisfaction after installing in their apex.
The spring engages when clutch rpm is 25-2800. An apex or rx-1 will tach higher than that at engagement because the crank is spinning faster than pto due to the gear reduction. Many people forget about this

So for the Apex what rpm does it engage ?

I use one and I love it! Engages around 2800 RPM. It’s nice to use the torque of the motor and not blow the track lose. I recommend it.
Did it affect ur fuel mileage ?

No change in mileage. Just engaged soon.
