The front of my 07 base model Phazer is TOOO STIFF! I am about 185 lbs without gear and have the springs on the softest setting. When turning there is little to no flex.
So does anybody know the rate of the front springs? Is there a softer spring available? Or am I stuck swapping them out for some Zero's?
thanks in advance jt

Could maybe look at hygear suspension they make a triple rate spring for the front that will give some softness but will progressively get harder as the softer springs become compressed.

WHOA!!! Those look great, but $1000 and up is a little more than I wanna muster.
They don't have a spring only for my non-rebuildable front shocks.

try taking the swaybar off? then it will dive a little cornering where you may need more spring. just be carefull on the first ride.
i took mine off, but have float 2's set up @ 100psi & have no regrets. love how it rides much better for me at least.
otherwise i have my front gt kyb shocks that i took off if your interested.

I'll give 'em a call tomorrow. Their website looks like they don't offer springs for the shocks on the Base model Phazer, but we'll see.

Find out the length then check around with dealers of other sleds like 'Cat or Polaris for some spring options.
On my old Firecat I switched out the fronts to a progressive rate from a 'Doo for like $70, big improvment.

Checked with Hygear today, no dice on changing the springs. They said they can only do spring swaps on rebuildable springs.
Found Fox's for $640, anybody know of a better price? I really want to stay at $400 or less.

you can always measure the length of the shocks, i think they're 17", & search for any brand. floats or coil overs, your preference.
