Some really good deals out there right now

Great Sled, congrats on your purchase, something else you may find interesting as some seem to frown on, the old delta box 2 chassis found in your Vector you bought will out run the Viper in its cutting edge pro cross, enjoy your quality built and reliable sled.
Your entitled to your own opinion.

That is not an opinion is it? I think the vector and Venture for that matter are both faster than the Viper. On a smooth straight trail of course

But the seating position is much worse........

I started this thread and I stated some good deals out there, most that have chimed in agree and have purchased a sled that fits them. I also stated that I purchased a viper for my son who just did his first trip to the UP, he enjoyed it a lot so my thought process was to get a "cutting edge pro cross chassis" for him to spend some time on. If you wanna race one of those vectors or ventures I got no problem lining it up with ya, oh I'll bring my "cutting edge pro cross chassis" 18 sidewinder. Now, just stop it. Stay on topic, were here to help one another. If you like the pure Yamaha sleds...great. If you like the new yamicats...great. Ride whatch got and enjoy!

Yeah they are more sit down, but I don't mind it to bad, glad to see buddy got a good deal on his 16 Vector xtx, the xtx's seem to be getting bought up.

Is there a spot on this board that deals with transportation? I am buying new sled from WI as well and luckily the dealer linked me up with someone in my general area who was also buying a new sled from them. The other buyer was picking up his sled so now he'll get both and I'll split the transportation costs with him. Worked out well for all involved. I'm in Hershey PA and the other buyer is from western NY.

No spot I know of ..I was willing too work out sharing..I have a New 2 place vnose....f350 diesel...shipping via uship. is a horror story

Good to see others are taking advantage of leftover stock. Seems to be a lot of sleds in Wisconsin, maybe due to 3 bad winters in a row for them too. Not picking up my new purchase until March 9th, just a couple of weeks out. Picking it on our way to the UP to ride for a week, I know my son is stoked to be riding a new sled and I'm happy to do it for him.

I actually had good luck with Uship twice.
Once a sled from Wisconsin to Maine, [$600] the other a boat from North Carolina to New Brunswick.
Took awhile to get a guy for the sled but I was in no hurry as it was May.

Glad to see that you can do that for your son, you also are going to make him addicted to snowmobiling which this sport needs younger riders, hopefully he will keep the bug for years to come and support the sport, we need younger riders to help keep the sport alive, also a great way to spend time together, hats off to you.

Thanks! We have a large group of young riders, a couple of weeks ago we had 5 youngins age 17 - 24 in the UP for a few days. It was a lot of fun.

You have to be careful with them and ask what there best out the door pricing is . When I finally got someone to attempt this for me the price was $ 1000.00 more than what was on the internet. This didn't include TAXES . LOL ! I gave up .....

You aren't kidding about those guys. I lost a 2014 Viper ltx se in a fire last year and they had 2 in stock both new with 0 miles and they had it advertised for around 7k. I inquired as it was the same model and color of what I just had and 7k sounded good until they told me that's without this fee and that and next thing I know they wanted $9500 OTD for a 4 MY old sled. i'm guessing that's why they still had it so I went to Ohio and picked a new sidewinder ltx se for $11,900 OTD. They do that on all their inventory and thats why it shows up first on snowmobile trader when selecting lowest price first search but by the time they add on all their BS fees including an $1100 setup fee, they are not close to worth the hassle. You might as well pay MSRP local lol.
