RX part nr: 8DW-47587-90
FX part nr: 8FB-47587-90-00
Same number, different starting letters.
I've seen this several times, and I guess that means they are not interchangeable.
Can anyone verify this?
Top sprocket and chain has the exact same part numbers, so they are okay.

I read your post. And it seems there is no way to be 100% sure, except when you have both gears in front of you. Thats not a good system.
If I where to guess, the lower gears is not interchangeable since one is 8DW, and one is 8FB.
However, the top gear has the exact same part number, and so does the chain.
I would think that the top sprocket/ chain also had different prefixes, if that was the way the system works.
If noone chimes in with the correct answer, I will check this in the spring - when both my Nytros, and my fathers RX1 is going into my garage for servicing

Guys, it looks like the gears are interchangeable, and the letters refer to if its for a reverse/non- reverse model. Look at this from the FX Nytro manual:
8FB = reverse compatible gears.
8DW = non reverse.
Let me know if I've misunderstood
