spark plug caps

This is my first time checking my spark plugs on my Apex.Do the caps just pull off the spark plug or is there a trick to this?

You have to unscrew the cap. The cap is screwed down into the top of the head. Take out the screw and then pull off the cap. This will allow you to get the spark plug wrench into the hole.

So when you say unscrew the cap do you mean take the bolt out that is holding the cap on and then pull the cap out?

So is there a trick to pulling these caps off or just pull hard.I just finished changing my oil and filter and that was a journey in it's self.

I just did mine the other day and they are a little snug. I used some small snare wire that i wrapped around each plug cap so i could get some leverage and pulled them right out. After that the it's all down hill. Good luck.
