i notice the plugs are easy to get at on this not like the apex and i was wondering if when you put the trail tank on it takes the ease out of this and you have to take the tank out to change the plugh thx :rocks:

Get the tank, I have one. To access the plugs you just need to unbolt the tank, then slide it back. 6 bolts total to do this if I remember correctly. 2 bolts for the side covers, 2 bolts for the seat and the 2 bolts that hold the tank in place.

how much would that suck at -20 on the trail at 12 at night when you foul a plug and i know its a 4 stroke but fouled plugs are not un heard of happend on my rage

i have never heard of fouling a plug on a 4 stroke when cruising down the trail, the only time i fouled plugs on my warrior was when i would start it and not warm it up completely then shut it down the next time i would go to start it they would be fouled

The only time I ever fouled a plug was on my warrier when I fired it up then shut it down instead of letting it warm up properly. 5000 miles on my Attak and nevr fouled a pllug- I will take my chances with the trail tank

ur rage was carburated too dont forget, less chance of fouling with fuel injection. I had a rage 2 and fouled 1 but the carbs were dirty. im thinkn about the trail tank too and changing the plugs is not really a priority to me. Still in the two smoke frame of mind?

Since it has been so long since I have had a stock tank. Can you reach the plugs with a universal, or do you have to screw with the tank like a trailtank? Someone pm'd me about this, and I wasn't able to answer his question 100%

That is what I told him. The only time I fouled a plug is when I was stupid. When I first got it I didn't let it warm up enough. Can you say dumb a$$
