I have an '08 rs venture with 6800 km. This weekend while driving the speedo and lights and engine would turn off for a second then come right bak on. The timing of this was random. If it happend while the engine was idling (low rpm) it was tricky to restart. I would wait about 10 minutes and get it going again. I am going to go see what I can find. Any one else have this problem? I am thinking bad connection, short, or bad relay.

battery cable is loose

low battery...put a new one....seen that before...
Everyone, including dealer, says that it is probably a loose connection or battery so I went through it today and pushed any connectors I could find together and tightened any bolts or nuts. Didn't really notice anything real loose but did seem to to make a difference when I pushed in on the main fuse. It is running good in the garage now. Will try taking it out asap, will let you know how I make out.

The spedo is on the same fuse as the tail light so if you have a small rub through in the tail light wireing i can make the speedo flash on and off when it shorts too. Maxdlx
