Have 700 km on sled and its squeaking intermittently when stopping. Is it the brakes or clutch, anyone else experiencing this ?

I noticed this the other day. I just assumed it was the brakes. Never thought it could be the belt. It did go away later in the day.

If it continues to make noise at idle(not moving) its the belt (to tight) . If it does it while stopping(pulling brake lever) I would think its the brakes.

Try slowing down without the brakes. Is the squeak still there ? If so, it,s the belt.

Thanks for the replies, was there all day for 300km, does not do it at idle, so must be brakes

Mine were squeaking when warm, It got pretty annoying. I just sprayed the pads , caliper and rotor with break cleaner every couple hundred miles and it hasn't came back.
