Hey guys,

I am the new owner of a 2012 Nytro xtx. This was my first weekend out and I was very impressed with the sled overall. Only managed 160 miles but it didn't take long to get used to the new ride.

Anyways, one thing I did notice was that the right front suspension seems to squeek when going over studder bumps. I only notice it when going around 30 mph and slower, probably because the wind noise drowns it out at higher speeds.

Has anyone had this issue or is this a common thing? Really hard to pinpoint where the squeek is coming from on the suspension at this point.

Im not sure if they changed out the bushings in the front ends on the 2012 but more then likely there are plastic bushing where your aarms bolt onto the subframe and they tend to wear out quickly. Finish this year but change em to the oilite bushings. Way more solid then the stock kind

had same problem last season with my 2009 with 700 miles on it. Front end squeaked all the time at low speed. I changed out my control arm bushings as mentioned above and no more noise.

I'm running the oilite a-arm bushings and I also hear a squeak at lower speeds. I'm not sure if it's the a-arm bushings or shock bushings but I don't worry to much about it seeing how I don't do much low speed riding :sled1:

X's 2 lol

If you wanted to I guess you could drill a hole and install a grease fitting. Fill the whole thing up with grease. I don't think theres any need for it but it would more then likely fix it.

Check the collars that the lower shock bolt goes through on the front shocks as well. You can slide them right out of the shock and put a bit of grease on them once in a while. Its metal on metal and is often over looked
