I am going for the LTX SE it seems like the best of both worlds to me.
Coming off a modified Phazer RTX. I have been looking for something that rides like the phazer and has 10 to 20 more horse but i guess ill take 40 to 50 more. Lol

My list would be very long..LOL
I will list some since 2003 and how many miles I put on them, I purchased all of them new except for the XTX.
97 Yamaha SX triple piped (148 Dyno HP at the motor) with Worx shocks 4000 miles
2003 Firecat SnoPro 1800 miles
2007 Attack GT with a CPR Stage 2 Turbo 1400 miles
2007 Phazer FX 1000 miles wifes sled
2008 FX Nytro 400 miles ( sold it when I broke my ankle unrelated to snowmobiling)
2009 Nytro XTX w/ JRE spindle kit Hygear springs 1200 miles
I have not test rode any of the New Vipers or any of my previous sleds before purchase.

After serious product evaluation I snow checked a SKi Doo 1200 GSX SE. After 11 Yanaha's It was a tough decision. But comparing the Viper LTX SE to the doo. It's not even close and the doo is $1000,00 Less OTD. In addition, Artic cat is building the Viper? IMHO the rest of the Yamaha line hasen't been improved for years.

In your opinion, what makes the Doo so much better? I'm guessing they may be lighter so that would be one pro.
