I just got my new 12mm bar from Pioneer for my 07 Apex GT. I went to install it and the bar does not fit into the splines on the stabalizer arms. (bar is a hair bigger than the spline hole in the arm)
Nowhere did it say on Pioneer's web site that you need new arms as for the GT and when I spoke with Pioneer to oder it nothing was said.
Is this a fluke or has anyone else run into this issue?
If so, what part #, year or model arms do I need from my local dealer.

I had the same problem installing mine. Had to spread open the links with a screwdriver and tap it on with a hammer.

Same problem. I opened them up but the bars never lined up. Gave up and will try again once the sled is out of the shed. Anyone else have the same issue with the arms lining up?
Thanks,

As stated above, spread the spline and it will slide on.
Or, you can spit on it and it'll slide right in! LOL!

I took the arms right off and put them on the bar, then connected the arms back to the linkages. That way eliminating the twist that would occur when trying to do it with the arms attached to the linkages.
You could put one arm on the rod, fully attached, then slide the rod through the bulkhead hole and attach the other arm. I used a rope to allow me to put the second arm on without pushing the rod out of the hole.

Just like everything in this world, there are mechanical tolerances throughout the parts and mine didn't line up perfectly either (assuming you are talking about the arms sitting parallel to so the bar is working properly, trying to keep the skis at the same height wrt to the chassis).
What I discovered was I could flip the arms upside down and between the two of them I was able to find a fairly well aligned position.

Thanks for the feed back,
I will try that.

I bought the 13mm bar with the new links and had to the same thing (spread & tap) to get them on.

I took the arms off and put them in the vice and spread them with a chissel.
Installed one side then tapped the other side on with a hammer. Make sure you do the arm switcheroo (back side/front side) to line them up. All and all it worked out fine but you sure have to spread them.

I also bought a 12 mm bar,and i was wondering, they say that you can back up your springs to 10 1/16 for improved handling, from where to where is that measurement?
