standard Ski's but which carbide to use


I ran the woody 8's. Helped, but the slydog skis were a night and day difference, I'll never go back to stock. But I understand, sometimes new skis aren't an option.
 
For the stock skis I would suggest going to 1/2" diameter bars or shaper bars with whatever length of cutting cabides you prefer. Getting the bigger bar deeper into the trail seems to help the front end turn a little quicker. Also, pull up the front strap to add more ski pressure. Then start doing push-ups so you'll be able to turn the bars.

Thats why i ask i would like more bite but aint got stallone forearms lol. What about say 4" dooley carbides?
 
The sharper bars are very nice! and have been holding up very well for me.
