that all depends on how your trailer or ramp is setup.....works amazing on my tilt/clam shell trailer, works good on inlaws hybrid ramp trailer backing out after flip down "edge guides" were installed to cover the large gap between deck and ramp (same issue as regular carbides). as far as fold up style ramps for loading into a truck, I have no idea...she's strictly a trailer trash kinda girl (doesn't like to be cuddled....just rode hard and put away wet).
