My starter for the last 2 or 3 weekends has been making a weird high pitch noise and After i shut off my sled(most of the time) after my ride, the sled made a wierd "winding down" sound from the clutch side .
Anyone with the same problem ?

Not sure about the high pitched noise on the clutch side but my cooling fan behind the radiator makes a funny winding down noise (with a fair amount of vibration) when I shut the sled off if the fan has been running. I actually had the same thought (that it might be my starter) at first but then realized it was the fan. I'd bet this is what you're hearing. To confirm, let the sled idle until the fan kicks on then turn it off and see if this is what you're hearing.

Happen to me...Your starter will eventually Fail! Get a replacement OR open it up.

The starter shaft is turning inside the magnetos and it should not.

Good luck!
