Has anyone heard of this problem? 07 Attak - My friend was told by a local dealer that when starting the sled, the FI system should be allowed to finish pressurizing before cranking the engine over or plug fowling can occur preventing the sled from starting. They also said this was a known problem. Plug fowling? He was told changing the plugs will correct the problem and to start the sled as described. Right now the sled won't start. I am very skeptical of this information. Can anyone verify this one way or another? Thanks.

Fouling the plugs is usually do to just starting it and not let it warm up and doing this multiple times just to hear the awesome sound of the motor. Changing the plug will correct this problem. So when you do change the plugs don't just start it and turn it off......let it warm up to operating temp before turning it off.

pull the fuel pump relay and try to start it. If it runs for a second or two, plug the relay in and start it. You HAVE TO let these sleds warm up once you start them. I always let the fuel pump pressurize before I start it, especially on really cold days

Yes I fouled the plugs on my 07 apex before. Just turn ignition on and let the fuel pump cycle then start. Do not touch the throttle until yellow light goes out when its cold out, or if its warm out let the rpm stabilize at 1500. -100 +100. I never fouled anymore plugs while following these instructions

Have never fouled a plug following the above statement!

Thanks for the information. I have been unknowingly using this correct starting /warm-up procedure on my 06 Attak without being aware this problem can arise. Dumb luck mabey. I'll pass this info. to my buddy having the trouble. He just got his 07 over the summer and it could be a case of ASSS! (Awesome Sound Seeking Syndrome) Any other best kept secrets I should know about? Thanks again.
