-30c out yester day and my sled wouldn't start. I don't think it was the battery but possibly a cone toon somewhere. When I tried the key all that woul happen was a click down buy the battery. I an assuming it was the solenoid. Even after boosting wouldn't make a difference. With the cables still connected I kept trying the key and finally it went. It turned over good and finally started. The engine compartment was full of snow from deep powder and drifts along the trail the day before and I hast clean my air filter out the day before. It has been good since. Any ideas what it could have been.
There was a pile of snow in the engine compartment and i do believe it was the problem because when i pulled the air box apart there was snow packed in the belly pan below it. I just thought i would ask because you never know. I have the sled in the garage as we speak thawing out and I time will tell if it happens again.
