Two questions, first has anyone had battery problems, Last night after rideing, :o| the sled sat out in -10 weather for about 4 hours, I had trailered it with 3/4 tank ( i know the shut offs are going in tonight) Went to start it and all I got was 1 click sound every time I turned the key. I backed trailer and all into the heated shed and left it til this morning. Hit the key and she fired right up. So my questions are if it was hydro-locked would the fuel drain away or is my problem just a weak battery and when its cold it can't turn it over, also will Yamaha warrenty a battery. I have only had the sled 10 months.

thanks![/i]

Check if your battery terminals are tight.

Its possible they maybe loose I checked mine when I brought my sled home and they were finger tight. Maybe just the temperature change could be enough to give a bad connection

Definitely check the connections, the connection on the starter of my dad's RX-1 was very loose, actually fell off during a ride after he had it about 6 months.

Was the battery fully charged? When cold if not fully charged it will act as you described and then work better once warmed.

I need a new Battery in my Wolverine quad, I keep it in my shop. The shop is cold when I first go in there and if I try to start it, it just clicks. If I let it warm up first it rolls over with no problem.
