Ok turn key on power comes on, fuel pump primes, turn key to start and nothing. Turn the key to start about 3 more times then it starts. Sometimes it starts first turn sometimes it don't. Thought I read on here that my model year had a problem with this? Its a 2007 Yamaha Attak. Any suggestions?

Rockerdan is right on the money. I had the exact same thing. I took mine off and found all the connections corroded. I ordered another one but did find out that it can be taken apart and cleaned. They are not expensive but I jsut thought I'd try. Does anyone know if a cover can be made to protect it from the elements?

Hey Rockerdan!
I am going to need that relay if you still have it? Is it brand new? We rode this morning for the last day and I didn't think it was going to start. I thought I was going to have to push it on the trailer. I am on my laptop heading home now. If I am going to tear it down to get to the relay I might as well put a new one in it instead of cleaning it. Send me a message or e-mail me at troop6776@tds.net
