After 19000 miles my nytro cooked the stator. Is there aa y way to remove the flywheel cover without pulling the engine out of my sled. I have the cover loose but iy won't come out.

I was able to get the flywheel stator cover out buy removing the to front motor mount bolts and tipping the motor back and forth.
My next question is the 2012 and 13 nytro's use a different stator. I have read that it's a heavier duty stator. Will yhe newer stator work in my 08 nytro? I was running my yamaheater on high when the stator burned up.
