Steering Rod Relay

I was checking my steering an there was some slop in it, I looked at all the joints and it appears to be in what they call the steering rod relay. This is the one section that does not have replaceable ends. Am i the only one that needs this replaced due to slop in the steering?????

All of the rods and ends in my Rage need replacing, but after 10,000 miles I think it's time.
