that's good but for $16000 with tax Canadian? That thing ( as sweet as it looks ) should be doing a buck 20 in it's sleep! That's KILLER coin for a 'slow lane' sled in my personal opion... regardless if it can go 80,000 miles before an oil change!
We've got 'one' on the board now at 121.6mph Guy's from Ontario Canada. Nice guy...

?
lot of f-7's there. stocks running 107-112 in same conditions.
the rtx has only 220miles, rear not even sucked down. besides a stock(clutched) mach going 119, the rtx was fastest stock sled there.
I hit 106mph riding double (over 485lbs)

We had my dads out on the weekend I rode it though the gun. We roll a 2000' strip with a wheel and use a stalker radar gun.
The 06 Apex wtih 200 miles on it and 144 woodys studs ran 115 which I was impressed by.
My STOCK mach z 1000 only ran 114 mph but after I played with clutching ran a 121.
I am really impressed with the apex and maybe on one next year provided we keep idler wheels and it from overheating all the time. We put ski-doo idlers on it yesteday and rode it all day with no probs with wheels coming apart. We keep having to throw chunks of snow on the runnning boards though.
Im 99% sure were going to order an MPI supercharger today for the apex if it works well and we can run 127+ MPH in 2000' I'll be on a yamaha next year too!

You are probably the only guy that I know with a stock F7, that can run the speeds that you claim let alone break the 120 mark. Most of the F7's I have seen are all 114-116. Anything with a SP track is 104-111 and that's with clutching..... So, yours is rare.FXR F7 said:that's good but for $16000 with tax Canadian? Agreed.... and we're clutched and geared for it
But there were plenty of 03 F7's 'standard' ( non SNO SLOW ) that ran 116-118 box stock saw it with my own eyes on the STALKER
and there is no question Yammi is years ahead in fit and finish. The APEX is a beautiful sled!

Do not forget to mention what distance you guys are running in....shorten it to 2000 feet and you'll be dissapointed.

Geared to the moon for 3000 feet. Again, shorten it up to 2000 feet, lets see 120 mph then.
Sure box stock F7's running 118mph in 3000 feet, that's not new...try in 2000 feet.

welterracer said:Going over 110 doesnt interest me.. As long as i can beat everyone to 100.. thats what counts on the trail..
How many times have you gone a REAL 120+ on the trail??
That's right anyone can drive a sled straight. the trails is where the sled & driver will show their true speed.
