Who makes the stock hand guards for FX Nytro. Is that a yamaha part?

Mine have cracked in the middle for no reason at all.

Are Power Madd guards a direct bolt up to stock mounts?

Take a look in the Dennis Kirk catalog. There is a picture of the exact same guards. I can't remember what they are but you will recognize them They have the replacement mounts there too.

thats weird. the plastic is cracked by the screws. never ever been rolled or on its side

Ever been tarped on a trailer? or in extreme cold? Just askin. One of mine are cracked like yours, bought the sled used. Maybe wapping willows at high speed?

I bought from yamaha for my 2010 xtx, it was $8 or $9. I was quite surprised at the price

They suck! Mine has done the same thing. I went with Power Madd for all three sleds and they work great. Much more heavy duty.

I bought Power Madds and took my OEM guards off before my sled even smelled snow! The OEM guards were cracked right at the screw holes.....No problems at all with the Power Madd.........

Mine also have cracked - and never rolled. It must be due to vibration. i have drilled small holes to stop the cracking.
Check out the Rox Racing hand guards. They fit and look awesome.
