Guys with miles, how are the factory hyfaxes holding up? I bought the Duponts but have not installed them yet.

If they are anything like the ones on all my Doo's they will wear very quickly to a point and then stay there for thousands of miles. I used to laugh at the guys on Doo Talk who would get all excited when they wore so fast and then they would put new ones on only to see them wear real fast again. After many responses to just leave them alone they finally would realize that they just wore fast to a point and then stopped.

Local dealer here says save our money...they dont wear.
Will see if he is right, but typically a dealer will jump at a sale, not this time
I will say this chassie rolls easy compared to my doo which does not at all....could be the same reason it does not transfer well too, doos wear at the bend hard, and dont roll well on a stand, where as the SW on a stand just keeps rolling easily....bet its got good slider wear.

They hold up very well. Had 4600 miles on my viper when I sold it and sliders were still in Great shape. I did have a extra set of wheels and 4th wheel kit.

They hold up very well. The dupont's work well on Apex, but on the procross they are not needed. The dupont's will wear the same as regular sliders if you run in a lot of dirty snow or if you run a lot of roads that are sanded.

6000km on my Viper, changed them but didn't have to I think I could've put a nother couple thousand. Sidewinder so far 2400km not even close to be needing to replace them yet.
