hi guys
i would like to hear some of your opinions. i have a stock nytro that i am pretty happy with. i wish it was lighter and had a bit more power but i can't afford to boost it. i found a guy that wants to trade me his supercharged phazer so he can turbo a nytro. phazer has all guages and fuel control box etc. anybody ridden both? i am not looking to be at the top of the mountain just want a fun sled. my nytro can keep up pretty good with the 800s (except on the big climbs it does not go as high) i don't want to lose performance with the phazer. i know i would have to put a bigger track on the phazer so i will be spending a bit of money. but like i said i don't have 6-8000 to put into my nytro.
what do you think...

2 votes nytro 0 votes supercharged phazer keep em coming. i would be changing the track to a 151 and with the supercharger should have more power than the nytro

Being a Turbo mtn Phazer owner, i would say stick with the Nytro. Im having great success running 13lbs (pump gas/head shim) on my Phazer and its a lot of fun to tune and learn etc however if this is your "daily driver" i would say stick with your stock Nytro (FX chassis i assume) since it has the added reliability of being naturally aspirated.
I have no problem with keeping up to a stock nytro fx on my phazer or even highmarking them, and its a blast to ride, but having ridden both its hard to beat a stock sled with its "gas and go" ability, especially when they are so evenly matched when put side by side.
For me I like having a sled that is so unique and the ability to even boost the power even more with some upgrades, I also like beating up on the larger displacement sleds
Although I have been trouble free to date, I think eventually it will catch up to all of us with forced induction.
Good luck with your decision!

What he said + 10 - the "tuning and learning" part is fun for a while
