Read a few posts about owners taking the spacers and putting them both on the outside to help widen the ski stance out a bit. Just wondering how much of a effect it actually had on handling in the corners?
What I was considering was machining new spacers on the lathe so I could keep some sort of spacer on the inside. Thinking of a 1/4-1/8" spacer on the inside and just make up the rest on the outside to push the ski out a bit more.
The other thing I was wondering is if it made it much more dificult to carve with in the powder. When I first got the nytro this fall I thought it was awful heavy pig to get it to move around but have gotten used to it now and can carve reasonably well with it and have not problems side hilling with it. Not sure why but I can carve to the right like a dream but the left is a little more dificult.

I move both spacers on the outside and put a 6" Bergstrom carbide on the inside and a round bar on the outside of my tuner skis and it really helped.

Will give it a try and see what happens. Mines a 09 with the factory ski's on it yet. Bought the sled last fall and on the fence weither I will keep it and do some upgrades or try something else next winter again..

Machined some new bushings a couple of days ago and tried them out.
It did help to level it out in the corners. No negative effects so far.
Only major beef left now with steering is the boots in the front end. They constantly fill up with snow and freeze. Makes it a real pain to steer.
