My buddy and I run that setup and like it...no darting and the ski's float well.

Yup...my XTX came with the snow trackers (dealer throws them in on all new machines) and when I bought my mountain skis I just drilled the hole and put them on.

I have the spring spacers but no revalve...didn't like all the extra $$ to get the spacers to Canada (charged a USPS handling fee and an extra pay-pal fee without telling me) so I will never order from highgear again. No darting and light steering in my case...love it...buddy (twiz28) runs the same set up and feels the same way. BTW the dealer also threw in a spare belt and 06 apex bars with a riser...

I'm not a newf I live in New Brunswick, I think they call us herring chokers LOL. We have a little over 4000 miles of groomed trailes in New Brunswick with a little bit of everything, I mostly ride in zone 2. http://www.nbfsc.com/en/trails.php
To be honest I found the mountain skis worked better then stock (they have a deeper keel) in the twisties and am very happy with the change and best of all my front end floats in powder. Having said all this I have never run aftermarket skis although I rode my buddies XTX with powder hounds and like my set up better. I bought mine last summer on the snow west forum for a pretty good deal http://www.snowestonline.com/forum/ .

yeah...thanks and forgive my brain toot...wasnt thinking clear..since the post I found out ..the trail ski and the mountain are the same except the ski itself (judging from yam microfische) and the bottoms can be had new for about $75.00 each...I'll carry the pieces over from the trails...add my snowtracker extremes over...thanks for your insight again

Everything fits but you will need new bolts and spacers to mount them...
