Ok...got the 2012 XTX home and getting it ready for season. Looking at getting some storage space put on her. What has worked best for you guys? Photos of yor set-ups would be much appreciated. Unsure what bag(s) one could use on the rear of the sled without a turn-out, if any. Thanks in advance.
storage
someone needs to come up with a low profile hard storage bag/box to fit behind the muffler.

How do you guys like the tank bag? Does it get in the way if you ride hard....does'nt look to bad for cruising. Thanks

I would look into moving your tail light to the very rear, above the rear bumper on the tunnel. Then you have all kinds of room for pretty much any bag/rack combo you want.
You'll still probably need to get a turn-out just to be safe. Or at least I would.

I dont have mine on yet but I've ridden an XTX with one installed and I didn't notice it was even there sitting or standing. Check out this thread for more info on it.

The tank bag is awesome, I can't imagine not having it.

wow that looks like a pack mule, J/K haha.
What is that you have on top of the tank bag?
My XTX is equipped to carry a good load too if need be.
The combination sport luggage is a great addition, but isn't the toughest...I have worn through 2 sets.

Thanks for all the quick replies...would expect no less from TY4 members...talked with Bottle Rocket (TY member) on the phone and he seems to like the tank bag. Sounds like a few other members do as well. Thanks for the help guys.

I am going to try these on my MTX. I will hopefully have my sled in a week or two.

Might be the way it's sitting. There normally is a little sag.
The bag on top of the tank bag is an old Polaris trunk bag I had strapped on there for a trip. I really don't recommend doing that, as it interferes with steering, and makes it impossible to turn hard to the right without pressing the gas.
