Question - has anyone noticed when using the straight rate spring(that is a stiffer rate) that at high speed, threw small chatter bumps your control seems to fade away?

It depends on how stiff you want it to be. Matter of personal preference. If you feel that its sufficiently spongy now to warrant going up in spring rate, probably would make sense to go two steps to the 2.5's.

I guess i will try the bar first then go from there to the 2.5s if still not enough!!

I think that people think that these heavy springs make the sled boumce along the trail.
As everyone knows, even though the frt end does not feel heavy in the steering......it is none the less very heavy!
My sled still rides like marshmellows even with the 2.3's. My SRX springs acted like bricks on the trail....my friends would ride beside me and say "the suspension does not move!"
It felt great to me and handled awesome!! What were the spring rates on thw SRX with the ohlins?
I bet they were were greater than 1.9's and remember the RX1 is a heavier sled in the front.
