Anyone installed straight rate front shock springs 03 RX-1M?

I put Ti springs of the 04 king cats, alot lighter, 1" longer. Plus the RCS Ti decal on the spring looks cool on the front of the sled. ;)!

my 03 mountain had dual rate springs, I still have them in the shop, maybe somebody put the wrong ones on it but thats what it came with. and if the 03 had 2.6 then and I put 2.3,s on why are the 2.3,s so much heavier and stiffer.

The debate about straight rate vs progressive got my attention so I had to go pull the shock cover and snap a photo (see below). It apears as if type787x might be correct and somebody pulled a fast one on snowy1. By looking at this picture it apears to me the sled came with straight rate springs. I snowchecked this sled in March '02 and haven't done any spring changes since I took delivery.

Frosty, as for the difference between the mtn and shorties. The shorties have a 9" travel front vs. our 7" travel acording to the '03 Specs in my brochure (yep I still have it) ;)! the dealer gave me when I snowchecked the sled. I believe the warrior has the same front end geometry as the 121". They all are 40 mm dia. HP gas shocks though ( I think).
