I just finished rebuilding the motor and I'm having a problem with fuel cut.
It starts and idles perfect but as soon as I give it throttle it starts to die and then comes back to life and will back fire through the throttle bodies, like it will be at 13.5 and then leans out to 15-16 and back and forth over and over again, pretty much like a massive vacuum leak but I don't have a leak that I know of and the cam timing is correct.
One thing that I HAVE to mention is that I found some burnt wires but have since repaired and have tested everything is diagnostic mode and everything checks out. I understand ecu damage could have occurred but I'm still ruling that out, lol.
Any input or ideas? Thanks in advance.

Could be the TORS, is the throttle cable too tight?

You wont always get a code when its acting up. I ended up by passing my boosted sled just because of this. Is this boosted?

It is supercharged, I thought it might be interfering so I put it back to NA for testing. How do you bypass TORS? I'll give that a try.

follow the control wires down to a big mess of plugs, there is a single wire plug in white and a single wire plug in black that comes from the controls. They are the only single wire plugs in that mess, plug the white into the black on the engine side. Does that make sense?

Oh for sure and I appreciate the info, good to know. I did have the GEMS on but again took them out for testing so it's all oem at this point.

No, the charger is off the motor. It's pretty much a stock setup as of now.
